Last summer Anna Maltz visited Ja, Wol to teach a couple of workshops, one of which using her 'Marlisle technique'. It was very inspiring and fun! Anna showed us the patterns and samples that would feature in her upcoming book, including a fantastic sweater using the technique she taught us. The patterns were so fun, inventive and quirky that we all loved them instantly.
From the makers:
"Love penguins? Love knitting?
This is the book for you!
There are 11 creative projects to cast on, from hats to cardigans to a cuddly toy. Anna Maltz has come up with playful, clever and contemporary designs, all inspired by penguins: their striking plumage, caring nature and (of course) the way they can withstand the cold.
Any average knitter with an adventurous spirit can give these projects a go. The step-by-step patterns are interspersed with stories, photography and illustrations from Anna’s creative community.
PENGUIN – A Knit Collection is so much more than a practical guide, it’s a pleasure to dive into. Banish boredom, cast on and join a community of knitters who are making the world more interesting with every stitch."
