Big Sister Pouch
We are absolutely overjoyed by this collaboration with Julia from Woollenflower. She spends a lot of time finding and making these beautiful pouches. Especially for Ja, Wol, Julia has made slightly larger pouches than she normally does, big enough to hold a shawl or a child's sweater and also great for holding all your tools and needles.
I hope you enjoy the craftsmanship in these pouches as much as I have for the last couple of years.I bought my first pouch from Julia in 2015 in Shetland and have been smitten ever since!
Saskia (Ja, Wol)
These pouches are made in small runs from worn-out Harris tweed jackets, lengths of vintage tweed or other salvaged wool fabrics.
Originally intended as knitting tool pouches, they also work beautifully for storing any treasures you might want to carry with you.
100% wool, lined with unbleached Scottish linen and closed with a sturdy olive and antique brass YKK zip.
Size: 28 x 18 x 6cm at widest point
Care: Hand wash in tepid water and dry flat
DISCLAIMER: It has proven very hard to get accurate pictures of the tweed because it has all kinds of different colours. However, I will happily describe the colour over the phone if you would like me to. Also, the picture with the small and large pouch is there to show you the difference between Julia's smaller pouches and the Big Sister Pouches that she has made for Ja, Wol.
